    You might have success adjusting the two potentiometer(s) on the power supply.

    M8 he does not have slim model but fat 80gb it's in first post

    EhtYlno , still there is no any data provided by u 12v means nothing , take proper measurements how voltages react on switching console on make a video or write step by step how they behave in manner of 12.00 dropped to 11.58 or something like this then we can speculate

    ok that is definitely 100% a faulty psu... I have had the same issue before till I tested with another psu and it booted fine. For me it was in a 60gb system but have even seen it in the slims also.

    Weak Voltage trick.

    You can replace all the existing capacitors on the PSU with the same size, because the usage limit has expired or until the age of capacitors.

    For uniform voltage source lies in its CAPACITORS.

    For resistors rarely troubled though it may occur.

    I suggest you try to replace its capacitors.
