PS3 internet access through computer help?

I have my ps3 connected to my pc directly with an ethernet cable in order to use ftp. I actually set it up using this guide and it works fine: http://www.ps3news.com/forums/ps3-gu...pc-117598.html

But my question - during all this, the computer is connected to the internet through a wireless card so is that going to allow my ps3 to connect to psn? Should I disable my wireless connection in order to prevent that from happening or is it safe to leave it on?

Just make sure that your PS3 has a bad Gateway set up in its network settings. This will prevent it from connected to the internet in any way.
