    Unhappy [Answered] PS3 HD Cloning Nightmare help?

    I plugged my PS3 HD into my PC thinking I might be able to create a disk image of it. I went into partition manager and it asked me something about master boot record or GPT. I clicked MBR on a whim. Now when I put my PS3 drive back in my PS3, it says the drive needs to be formatted. Is there any way to undo what I did?

    no, the drives been formatted and no recovery tools can read the ps3 file system so what was on it is now gone.

    I'm pretty sure your screwed, once ps3 hdd has been initialized on pc (MBR) there is no going back from that. Sorry bro, guess its time to start over!
