PS3 Game Patches help?

Hello

Recently jailbroke my PS3. Just wondered, can you download PS3 Game Updates directly from PS3 Servers without actually signing up for PSN?

All I require is the game patches, not using my PS3 for any online gaming or PSN Store.

Some games will allow you to download them if you have PS3 online, even when not signed into PSN, but if CFW they likely will detect you anyway.
