PS3 Freezing issue help?

yeah, but where is the fun in that. I have a working 80 bc. i bought this wone for 50 bucks so that i can learn. I might attempt a reball my self. I have a few xbox mobos i can learn on. I am a total DIYer so i will not pay for a repair on this. should i do just the gpu or both gpu and cpu.

lol don't ever reball a ps3 professionally or otherwise.. a reflow done properly is much more effective and won't damage anything, but you have to do it right with particular attention to adding plenty of no clean flux and making sure you get the board to the right temps.

not gonna give up that easy. gonna order some stencils and do a reball myself. I'm doing this to learn. I have another system that works just fine.
