I compiled ettercap with the support of plugins as it says to do on the 1st page of the ps3 firmware version check thread on this forum.
Copy the new etter.dns file from ps3news.com.
Fire it up with
Go to my ps3 and try to sign in. I get this on my linux computerCode:ettercap -T -Q -M arp -i eth0 // // -P dns_spoof
Then after a few seconds my playstation error out with this codeCode:Activating dns_spoof plugin... dns_spoof: [fus01.ps3.update.playstation.net] spoofed to [67.15.88.46]
What gives? At one time this use to work but now I can not. Anybody out there using this method to bypass the firmware check to get online. I haven't played online for like two months but now I am itching to, but I don't want to update to 2.36.Code:An error has occurred. You have been signed out of the PLAYSTATION NETWORK 80710092
