PS3 on Firmware 4.0 help?

i just bought my new ps3 Slim 160Gb it has the latest Firmware 4.0

i got lots of games i already have downloaded, and currently downloading several others.. my question is..

But How do i Hack/Mod the PS3 so i can install & play these games..?

The PS3 has never been hacked/modded from before.. if that matters.

Natepig is right, but you can try to downgarde with an Hardware flasher, but be aware that it takes some soldering and skill to do so.

If he has it with factory fw 4.0 it is 3000 model and can NOT be downgraded nor hacked. To good, you talking right about pirating games and downloading them and have no clue. Your wasted your money, and the downloads are useless.

Yes good point. Check and see what ver. of ps3 that you have. The model number will tell it all. It should be something like Cech 2501 or Cech 3000 something. When did you buy the ps3 and what firmware came on it. Thanks.

There is a program that will tell you if it came be downgraded and to what firmware. Forgot the name of it.
