We fools it could also be something with the .sfo . But this are all only speculations. Upload some files from the game like the EBOOT, the SFO or that kind so we can do some tests and see if the files are correct.
What happens when you try running a game from multiMAN's file manager (you can do this by entering the file manager, going into a game directory and run the EBOOT.BIN file by pressing "X" on it)?
Tried this and just boots back to xmb. This is starting to do my head in.

ok here's the update. tried partitioning to a 1tb partition fat32. no joy. tried formatting the whole 3tb to fat 32 with 256kb clusters and still no joy. multiman does recognize the drive as it is telling me how much free space is on there but cannot write anything to it at all. tried to create new folder through multiman file manager and still no luck.
thought maybe a dud hdd but it does work on pc. Just wondering if the cluster size is the problem. have the option of 64, 128 or 256kb clusters. i can see this new hdd living at the bottom of the ocean soon.
NTFS support is not enabled mate. like i said old hdd is working a treat. multiman is latest version so no idea. it is strange no doubt. multiman does recognise drive but will not write to it or read from it.
