For the life I've me I couldn't get SAK to detect my 320GB drive and I tried everything. The only result was SAK says ..../sda(sdb) doesn't contain a valid partition table. All the forum posts said how it magically started working for them. This is incorrect. When formating for Fat32 in windows, you must make sure you set the partition to active. Also, you can't mess around formatting and just hit Ctrl+C to reboot SAK after changes, you must switch to the PS3OS, and restart SAK to get it to detect the disk correctly.
Good luck!
