    Question [Answered] PS3 External HDD 2 partitions (NTFS and FAT32) help?

    I have a new external HDD ist a Western Digital MyPassport 1TB.

    Now i want it in 2 partitions NTFS and FAT32

    FAT32 for my ps3 games
    NTFS for my mkv's

    Can someone help me?

    There are multiple partition utilities available, just do a search for them. However, one program you can use to do a FAT32 partition, which is free and easy to use and bypasses all Windows limitations, is Fat32Formatter: tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/Fat32Formatter/

    Just download, unzip and run; no installation required. Then I'm sure you can use Windows disk management or another program to format the other partition -- if it's not already -- to NTFS.

    It will work (i did) use easeus partition manager.

    It is powerful and free ~
