    [Answered] PS3 controllers not switching system on?

    Does anyone know why my controllers will do everything except switch my console on. This only started since I updated. It's wierd I can switch it off via the controller but can't switch it on

    shut down and unplug the PS3 for several minutes. Plug in the controller. Turn on the PS3 and let it boot up. Press the PS button on the controller and let it sink up. When you unplug the controller it should work.

    You must compare PS3 with sixaxis/dualshock3. Try to connect your controller by USB and press PS button. Next time it should work wireless!
