PS3 CFW 3.55 to what help?

Hi there.

I am thinking of updating from my CFW 3.55 to a newer CFW but confused over all the variations of CFW which one would be suitable for just a gamer.

Hi dyceast I went for; Rogero CEX 4.30 v2.05 but installing from PS3 menu i got message: 'No applicable update data was found'

Any help would be great.

you got to rename the cfw to PS3UPDAT.PUP create a folder PS3 the inside create another folder call UPDATE then put the PS3UPDAT.PUP you rename it ok hope i help

stue, I heard Rebug has better compatibility with PSN games, so in case you play them a lot, you might want to use it instead.

got a few PS3's im trying to downgrade. i need a reliable OFW to downgrade to so i can upgrade to a CFW.

what CFW do you guys recommend thats a newer alternative to 3.55?

I know this question has been asked numerous times before, but I'm still at a loss here. Currently I'm on Kmeaw 3.55 and I am looking to upgrade to a newer CFW, but which is better for a gamer, Rebug or Rogero? Is one better than the other? Is one better at compatibility? Do I need to upgrade in steps or am I OK to just upgrade to the new CFW? Any help or step by step guides would be great, including the best CFW.

Also will I lose my old PSN games and PS3 titles I've downloaded, as they are signed to 3.55, or is there a way to make them compatible?
