    With that model the control board is set into the motherboard so there is no remarrying with that model. I would replace the laser in it and I am almost sure that will work. There are two parts to these one part for reading CDs and DVDs and the other for reading games and Blu-rays. You get a laser off eBay for 35 dollars and easy to put them in.
