PS3 blu-ray drive issue help?

Hi I am new to the forum and was after some help if possible. I have got 2 ps3's one was over heating and the other had a blu ray drive issue.

I thought nice easy swap over from overheating blu ray to one with blu ray not working but it doesn't work. It will read dvd's and cd's but not games. Any help would be great thanks.

Have you tried to clean the lens at all. I use Maxell Blu ray lens cleaner.

If it still won't read Blu ray discs then do this:

Step 7. Re-insert the disk into the PlayStation 3

Q9. Is the loading wheel present on the XMB?

Yes - Go to SOLUTION: Faulty Lens
No - Go to SOLUTION: Faulty Control Board
