PS3 3.66 Jailbreak help?

Hi this is my first post and I am trying to get some help.

I have 3.66 Official Sony Firmware on my PS3 about an hour ago i tried jailbreaking it with a 3.66 Jailbreak and it updates and turns off and restarts and everything but I am not noticing anything at all. What am i doing wrong here?

At this point i have tried downgrading it I am download PS3 Official V3.65 Firmware and will try to jail break it to 3.66. Is that something i should do right now?

There is a PS3 Firmware 3.6x downgrade but it requires the Infectus Mod and is quite complex to do, but aside from rumored videos with no working code release there isn't a public 3.6+ JailBreak yet.

If you are refereeing to this - http://www.ps3news.com/ps3-cfw-mfw/v...stom-firmware/, you need 3.55 OFW or CFW to install it, and it doesn't enable you to play any back ups anyways.
