Red Face [Answered] PS2 Cheat Disc help on PS3

    Hey guys

I was wondering, has anyone been able to make a ps2 cheat disk (such as armax, xploder and codebreaker) to work on their ps3?? i've read all sorts of forums on the internet about it but i think this is the right place for me to have registered and asked this question because of the amount of brains used here lol (no offcence to anyone else lol!!!) Besides there are soo many forums which say it can be done and equally as much say it cannot be done, im confused lol.

Would someone be able to find out if it can work?? because ive tried myself and nothing happened!!! but i thought maybe i can get some help here.

    Thanks guys

When you put the disc in a PC it will show you the Disc ID I am referring to. The blacklisted ones are the ones you would want to stay away from as those Sony has already blocked on the PS3.

I haven't seen a list myself of which versions are working or not on the Internet, but it may be worth a try to Google around. If you have one in your possession, I'd give it a try (make sure it's an original, not a burned one as those won't work of course) and report back the result.

I believe it depends on the disc, for example, a few of my old GameShark disc ID's are blacklisted by Sony on the PS3 and either are seen as a data disc or bring up an error telling me to contact the company for a replacement disc but other versions of them load fine.

Seems to me you wouldn't have a refund as it is usually not covered in replacement conditions.

Probably just ask at the shop
