Possible to download from US video store in UK?

Thanks for the reply, can you tell me which proxy you have had success with? each one I try I either get a "Proxy Server Refused Connection" or "Your requested URL was not found." message in firefox and on the ps3 network settings test it finds the ip but then fails the next step

I used 81.95.157.178 Port:3128 (UK) to answer your last post.

But I had to try 3 proxies to get one accepting my request. Perhaps just bad luck last time you tried.

I'm not having much luck with this! The one you posted works for me and says i'm somewhere near scotland but everything american one I try fails and every other uk one I have tried also fails.

I either get proxy connection refused, bad url or in some cases get sent to a control panel page.

Has anyone else managed to get an american one working?

Sry I mixed UK and US up.

74.82.5.196:3128 is a running US Proxy.

I posted a UK Proxy before.. and that won't help with the US store.

I'm not able to get that one working either, I used an online proxy checker on it too and it says conection is refused.

Hm ... either the proxies are going on and off or its something about your ISP. I am sure you know what you do/did. I'll have another go later.

Ok. Looks like the proxies aren't very reliable. Using ics181-126.icsincorporated.com:8080 while I write this post.

Guess you'll have to stick to the proxy listings like:

http://tools.rosinstrument.com/proxy/
http://www.hidemyass.com/proxy-list/

and just try. Works for me but you are right, they go on and off.

If you can't get this to work you might try some commercial proxy services.

Thanks, that one worked only problem is it still wont let me use the video store it says the content is not available on my account oh well thanks for the help.

Proxy seems to be reliable. If the content is free anyway you could set up an us account. This shouldnt do any harm but I am not sure about the legal issues behind these restrictions. I can't understand why its US only. If I can see this an tv anyway whats the deal
