    can you play pc games on your ps3 if you run linux on it ?

    The Linux version on the PS3 doesn't have a graphic-acceleration as far as I know, so you wouldn't have fun with it. But I think, you sure can play some little games on it.

    Thanks for the answer guess I would have to wait if there will ever be a jailbreak for my ps3 as it is 3.61 firmware

    there was a rsx driver released for linux, homebrew group created it so i couldn't tell you how good it is going to be, haven't tested it myself.

    you won't be able to play any "current" pc games, as the ps3 doesn't have much ram (only 256MB), the games you'd be able to play would be pretty dated.
