Newest open backup manager and .hex files?

just wanted to ask if somebody can open a thread which contains always the newest open backup manager or best compatible backup manager and the .hex files for different board types, e.g. avr-key, blackcat usb and so on. would be great. cause there so many open backup manager out there in the wild.

Well, we do not allow post editing here beyond the initial few minutes for spelling/grammar corrections, so there would be no way to update the first post in a new thread meaning it would only recreate the situation that already exists.

As this is more a suggestion than a PS3 help question I'm going to consider it answered, with the best option being to check the last few posts in the ongoing threads for updates.
