    [UnAnswered] newbie looking for help

    i just got a ps3 yesterday. i have been reading some of the topics on here but have never got to try anything out. i guess my first question which i apologize if it has been answered. can i backup my ps3 games using the hdd and not have the game in. if someone could point in the right direction that would be great. i know i need the sak but i dont have access to that yet. i want to participate and help out but its hard when you dont have the right stuff.

    Not yet, there is no public way to play PS3 back-ups on a retail console. PS3 SAK will allow you to back-up the images to examine their contents though, but use the existing STICKY thread for that.
