New slim 500gb ps3 help?

hi guys, need help i'm getting son the new 500gb slim ps3 for xmas and cannot find anything that will allow me to back up his games, a usb jailbreak would be ideal as i'm a bit of a noob. thanks

Sorry to tell you but the new ps3 "super" slim 500gb is not hackable as of right now. the best bet is to get a used one at a pawn shop.

the only ones that are hackable are ALL the Phat ps3's and some slims.

they must be able to downgrade to 3.55 or lower. to find out if you have a hackable ps3 on you. you can use this file here: http://www.mediafire.com/?0mlju38vbqlizod to see if it can be downgraded to 3.55 or lower. when you do get a ps3 with 3.55 or 3.41 firmware on it. its really easy to hack

PS3 slim 3k-4k you can not downgrade for CFW 3.55.

Go and get a used one from ebay and then have it downgraded and you will be good to go. thanks
