    [UnAnswered] New to the scene....

    First off, just wanted to wave hello to everyone here! Secondly, I am new to the PS3 world and just got my 40GB PS3 a few weeks ago. It has the latest firmware on there 2.01, but I just wanted to see if anyone can give me some insight as to how we can possibly "back-up" games to play off the HD or an external HD? Thank you all in advance!!

    As of right now, there is no possible way of running PS3 "backups" on the PS3. Although there is a way to run PS2 "backups" on the PS3 (check the STICKYs here). And no homebrew yet, only time will tell.
