Question [UnAnswered] Multiple other os on ps3 ?

    Hi all,

i have already installed the ydl in my ps3, and i was wondering if it is possible to install another os without erasing the ydl linux... (multiboot) ??

    thanks

You can just overwrite the OtherOS file and then replace it when you're done... I've done this many times with Linux on my PS3, so no, you don't need to re-install Linux just to try another OtherOS.

I believe you can. The OtherOS sees part of the disk that you made available through XMB. AFAIK nothing prevents you to partition this space in a way to have 3 different Linux partitions there and use multiboot with them.

just add the relevant lines in kboot config file (somewhere in /etc )
