[Answered] Multiple Fat 32 partitions on multiMAN problem help?

    Sponsored Links
My hard drive has three partitions of Fat 32 and one NTFS but multiman only reads one of the partition. I tried searching google but not many people have the same problem and even if they do, nobody is replying to their questions. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Multiman - When switching to NTFS/PFS mode use only one USB HDD connected (mM supports up to 2 partitions: FAT32+NTFS, NTFS+NTFS, FAT32+FAT32)

Your partition can be larger for FAT32 as I have a 1.5TB hdd in FAT32

FAT32 only has a 4GB file size limit, so you have to split >4gb files

So yeah as said above use FAT32 Formatter by Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd.

Others will also format, but it is best to use the above.

What? Then how do I put my backup games if a Fat32 partition is only 32Gb large?

If you want to repartition the FAT32 partitions into one, then use Fat32Formatter. It's free and easy to use and bypasses all other limitations: tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/Fat32Formatter/

    Confused

in this year releases of multiman, all my external hdd do not work.

in showtime they do, but in multiman, they stuck the window with the loading symbol on top.

    ps3 with: 4.53 (sc-53)(pl3)
    hdd 1 fat32 + 1 ntfs
    hdd 1 ntfs + 1 ntfs
    hdd 1 ntfs

only a pen drive fat32 16gb is working, so i pass it all by lan/ftp.

Not all models will work. What model of external hdd are you using? Also try just one partition and see if it is recognized.

When in doubt, use Iris Manager. Lol. It has some NTFS/PFS support.

You could try switch your partition you want to use using a disc partition or something along those lines. It's a pain but I thought multi man only supported 1 fat32 and 1 ntfs partition at a time. But I do not know the answer to that as I only use fat32. Maybe Deank can answer that question.
