Loud PS3 - any fixes?

I just noticed this last night (when for a change the living room was dead quiet), that after 10-15min of playing, the PS3 got really loud (like the fan was overworking) and it wouldn't let up even after quitting the game.

I would turn off the console and turn it back on, but after playing games the loudness will make an appearance.

Anybody else has these issues? Any fixes?

ps: It's a 120gb ps3 slim, bought on september '09.

Try to get the dust out of the PS3. If it doesn't help, contact Sony, you have warranty and may have luck they repair/change your system for free.
