[UnAnswered] Linux and PS3 Pros a quick question (blu ray)

    Sponsored Links
Thanks for reading. I will be buying a PS3 and I have been reading many threads from different forums on how to backup a blueray disc with yellow dog using an external HD. Now my question is:

    1. Is there a way to play that .iso directly from the linux or ps3?

    If not

    2. Do I have to transfer that .iso to my windows machine and use the anydvd and the other tools to make it playable again on the PS3 with my TV?

    Thanks for your time.

At the moment there is no way to play an ISO, not under ps3 gameos or linux.

And there is no way to play a bluray copy.

if its a movie you're ripping, then yes, you can play it on your ps3 after editing it on your pc. If its a game then no.
