Just wondering about PS2 backups in a BUM?

If it's possible to create a Param.sfo, i have tried to launch a backup on my original fat console (longshot i know, but doesn't hurt to try) using the latest Multiman, it transfers ok and displays in Multiman with the correct name as a PS2 game.. but says Param.sfo not found when i try to launch the game.

Is there a way to create the Param.sfo or another workaround that may possibly work?

no ps2 backups don't work in ANY backup manager.
