Just 1 Partition visible (external HDD)

Hey,

i`ve got a problem with my external HDD, which i`ve connected to my PS3, but only 1 out of 5 partitions is visible.
All 5 partitions were formatted as FAT32..

Here are my questions:

Is it usual that the PS3 detect only 1 partition?
Anybody who has the same problems or maybe a solution?
Is there an alternative to format a partition which is bigger than 32GB?

this has been written about before (i had this issue!) only 1 partition, but if you use paragon, you can format a drive to any size via fat32. so you are limited to only fat32 and only 1 partition, so make it count!

using paragon I have a 300GB working perfectly

You don't need to use any 3rd party tools - simple Win98 FDISK will do the job as well ...

Yeah, basically just reformat and make into one large partition. If you have data on it then just back it up on your computer.

i have two partions on my 400gb hard disk. one is NTFS and other is FAT32. the FAT32 is only visable and you can backup all you uncopyrighted videos.

is there any way to backup you user account settings or even the demos i've dowloaded onto the ps3?
