I-Con Ps2 to Ps3 Controller Adapter Supports Rumble?

Going through Futureshop/Bestbuy, I see that they now have a new Ps2 to Ps3 controller adapter. It goes by the name of I-con.

What I want to know, has anyone used it and can verify whether or not it supports rumble on PS2 games with firmware 1.70+.

The adapter looks like the attached picture.

I work at a Best Buy and from what I understand, it doesn't support rumble. We have had a few returned because it doesnt support rumble/ guitar hero. Sorry.

Darn, that sucks big time. I don't mind it not working with Guitar Hero, but I would really like it to support rumble.

Thanks for the info joshtruction. If I can get one more person to confirm, that would be wonderful. It sounds as though both adapters at Futureshop/Bestbuy don't support guitar hero or rumble. :??
