how can I play a ps2 backup on a ps3?

being i can't see the disc to check it i'm unsure. but if you just made a 1:1 copy of it it will be fine. i used nero copy disc function and worked 100% except for dual layer games wouldn't play.. the speed at which you write to disc doesn't matter. i go max speed 8 or 16x i'm not sure and they work 100%

i will let you know if it works. see i got the ps1 burned games to work but not ps2 games that why i ask which disc i should boot up from ???

also what emulators can run from swap magic ? can i use the game emulators for computers with swap magic ???

Most emulators on PS3 these days are signed to work on JailBroken / CFW consoles without the need for Swap Magic though.

You can't burn a copy of swap magic you have to buy a real one.

Security on PS2 discs (to be identified as a legitimate PS2 disc) is at a position burners can't write to, i.e. it must be pressed.

barrybarryk i do have a real copy of swap magic. i have a ao1 model ps3, i never said i copy swap magic disc before on my post.

see i made a copy of the ps2 game he-man and the masters of the universe game and i wanted to play it but it from the pal region ps2 game.
