    They would be incorrect, the 3.41 fix just remedies the HDD upgrade issues outlined HERE it doesn't patch the JailBreak exploit, 3.42 does that though.

    Sony has removed it from their servers now I see, so aside from waiting until you can grab it from the downloads section here another option would be trusty Google of course.
