help needed loading games from external hard drive?

i have an external 500 gig hard drive which i have backed up f1 2010 and resistance fall off man. i have used open split to split the files. when i tried to load F1 it freezes on the loading screen. do you need any software on the external? the games are in a gAMEZ folder under their blu names.

both these games need to be transfered to your internal drive to work, also any games where you've used open split to split large files (4GB+) need to be copied to your internal because for the games to be loaded properly the large files need to be merged again.

There is currently no way to play games with files more than 4GB from an external hard drive and don't ask when there will be a way.
