[UnAnswered] having trouble with snes9x on ydl 6.0
when i type in ./configure && make
[root@localhost snes9x]# ./configure && make
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
this happens is there any way to fix it ?
It would seem that you are missing gcc, among other things.
Basically when you installed YDL, you did not check off the "Development" options.
Short of getting a pre-compiled binary, the best way would be to try to install the development tools. You may be able to do this via the Add / Remove software option!
can you show me a step by step way to do that ?

I dont use YDL personally, but try in a terminal:
(then enter your root password)
yum install gcc
Follow the instructions, say yes, and then give it a try!
