Getting a PS3 from US... need ask a question a power

Now i know you need a step down convertor there about £70 after delivery in the UK is there cheaper option?

No need for a transformer. Just you a kettle lead/pc power lead and you'll be fine. Universal power supply!

Dont bother with the step down coverter. All PS3 's have universal psu's. Just go and buy a power cable for a pc and put a 3 amp fuse in it. Ive been using mine like this since it arrived at the begining of December and no problems.

If you dont belive me have a look on ebay and people are selling them for about £8 you can buy them for about £3 or you might have one hanging about at home.

You should not need that. I have an american PS3 running right here. All u need is a computer power-cable that fits into ur Uk-jack

Yes that is right all u need is A PC cable. I live in Italy but am from the states I have my PS3 and all I used was a EU PC cable
