First Strike PS3 DLC question help?

I have a simple question, but I'm new to the PS3 scene.

I was wanting to know if one was to buy the D/L the upgrade map for Black Ops through PSN, is that person able to save it as a zipped file on a USB stick, so that it can be shared with a couple friends as an example.

Or is there another way if one gives his small circle of friends their log in P/W to the PSN account attached to the purchase would they now have the maps for their use on the other consoles ?

The only way is through PSN game sharing.
