[Answered] External PS3 HDD Question help?

It just arrived and I was wondering if there was anything I may need to do to get it to work with the ps3. I remember ntfs hdds not showing up on the ps3 a while back and most of flash drives and ipods are in fat32 format I believe so I have no problem with those.. Will I need to format my hdd to get it to work with multiman? I was wondering because I have the default files that come with the hdd and didn't know if I needed to keep them or something.

No you don't need to format your FAT32 HDD for it to work with multiMAN. You can use a NTFS drive with multiMAN but you can't play games with it, just to copy files (preferably 4GB+ files).

Oh lol. Well that might not work out well

To play games off of it, would I need to format it to Fat32?

    Thanks for the reply btw
