are dualshock 3 imports worth it?

im thinking about importing one but i wasnt sure. i just assumed that it would come with a few issues with region as i dont know alot about it. ive been eyeing up some good looking white ones but im abit reluctant. could anyone help me out and give me abit of info on the problems of importing?

there are no issues about region... if you have bad luck, you'll have to pay customs duties. some people buy it from play asia.. dunno

As long as you buy it at a reliable source, no problems with it. PS3 Controllers are all regionfree so don't worry about it.

hopefully i wont get any other charges along the way.

Well... You may get some extra charges. It depends on where you live.

There may be some taxes for country boardings crossing.
