    [Answered] DRM video protection question?

    Sponsored Links
Does the DRM protection work if I only play downloaded DVDs and what ever in a desk format or does it work for both if I play downloaded desks and AVI files?

I'm asking because I'm on 3.15 and wondering to what firmware I should update without worrying about this because I feel that 3.15 is a big hindrance for jailbreaking and games and stuff and I feel that most of the devs out there don't or just not interested in making stuff for 3.15.

I care less for OtherOs. but I use my PS3 to watch movies with the family so I don't want to be selfish here and looking for middle ground as buying another PS3 is hard now.

    Thank you.

If you convert "said" dvd to avi/mpeg 4 you will not have to worry about drm, the same also goes for bluray.

"All the drm will be removed by the computer so it will not interfere"

Just use 3r1c's mkv2vob converter and you can watch movies without any restriction.
