[Answered] Does the PS3 GPU gets hotter in 1080p resolution?

How much does it matter? Is there any difference in temperatures, while playing in 720p, or 1080p?

Or can the PS3 GPU easily play games in 1080p (which supports it), and it doesn't lead to extra stress / overheating?

I'm using 1080p, but if it can help to make a FAT PS3 live longer, I may think of using 720p instead.

I would say 1080p really kicks up a bit more heat. But maybe only 1 - 2 degrees. Nothing major at all.
