    i just bought the 320gig slim yesterday from harvey norman in australia (oxley store) it has 3.40... i want it for online anyway..

    i bought the 160 slim from Best Buy two days ago, it's got the latest 3.50 on it.

    Yup that was exactly what I did. I went to one of those privately owned game shops and got it. The box even had dust on it which showed a good sign. Thankfully it came out to be firmware 3.40.
