Trying to use the key from the disc key dumper to decrypt a retail disc image created with a pc blu-ray drive (software cryptographic layer is intact). Got some test code which works on master discs with the master key, but doesn't with retail discs and the key found with disc key dumper.

Am I right in thinking disc key dumper is used to get the key for the software cryptographic layer (see ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Basic_Bluray_disc_authentication_procedure#Disc_de-.2Fencryption)?

Turn on ps3, load key dumper, load game, exit game, load data dumper, get key from tmp. Can't see anything wrong with that but maybe there is.

I'm on 3.55 kmeaw, the game is old (pre version 3 firmware). Any tips?
