PS3 DECR-1000 question help?

It's just a stupid question... The DECR-1000 reference tool model's got 90nm CELL/RSX. I don't know how the internal hardware is (prototype-like i guess) but i wonder if it can get YLOD (like older retail FAT models).

Yes, yes it can YLOD. Admittedly the risk might be lower, the cooling is massive. Then again, the box puts off a lot of heat (good enough to heat a 12x12 room in the winter). Check out some pictures here.
