Copying PS3 disks to usb or internal hd help?

some of my disks i try to back up to usb take forever to copy the multiman, or just stop copying, is there a better way to do this or another ps3 homebrew that works better, or different setting i need to use in mm for some disks, these disks are fine, play fine, just like them on hd cause it a big drive, some disks copy fast, 2 such games that are slow or wont back up to usb or internal for me are... game of thrones and uncharted 3.

If its like my ps3 then the external can go as slow as 2 meg a second. Uncharted 3 is also very biigggg.

Internal i get about 26 meg a second. Disks with lots of small files also take a while.

does it on internal or external, some files wont even transfer if i do them individually, but game works fine, seems to ne movie files
