Confused about the whole ps3 scene help?

Hi.

With the new multiman thing released by deanrr, all the cfw, etc, I'm really confused. Can someone help me out by pointing me in the right direction, so I can at least understand what everyone is talking about. I just want to be able to back up the games I have purchased to allow better gameplay and shorter loading times.

If you wan't to backup and play games that you have purchased then you need to be on firmware version 3.41. Then you will need to obtain a jailbreak device. There are some threads here that will help you to do both.
