i got the email about a week or so, and got the movie on friday.. Im in Sydney..

I havent got mine yet. How did my fellow Ozzies register without upgrading firmware?

I set Simple DNS with the setting required (except i used the 'dau' and 'fau' prefixes as required for aussie connections and 67.15.88.46 as directed. I set the dns at 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 as is required for me to connect for some reason.

Then for ps3.proxy i set the proxy to 192.168.0.2 and port to 80 which my computer is and set the DHCP to the name of my router as i have dhcp setup. I can connect to the webpage and obtain an IP but am still prompted for the upgrade when i try to register or go to the store.

i just got my movie Mon 16/4 in Perth. registered on launch day, got email too.

I registered on the UK PSN months ago (Sep I think), bought my console in the US in Jan, and received my BD last week to my UK address. Not sure what or how that happened, but I never received an email or anything. I haven't even registered my console anywhere.

Was a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

Got the movie on Monday (16 April), email 7 April, registered Saturday night after release (had no time before to fiddle with FW check bypasss).

Congrats! I think most of the UK users will get it before this weekend if they registered during first couple of days.
