Cannot update demo PS3 help?

Hi. I have tried every single thing to update my machine and it always says corrupt data 8002F2E4. I have gone into the recovery mode and done it all and still nothing. The thing works though... I just cannot update it no matter what.

I think I'll just throw it out... don't need this frustration. I have two others. Any help/advice/guidance, etc. would be awesomely appreciated. Thanks.

i know this thread is old but did you find anything out, try reformatting both the usb flash drive and the ps3 hard drive go into system recovery and then rebuild database as well
