i have searched but only found OLD posts on this. so here i am posting...

please help me i am going insane!!! i have spent 2 hours on this and still nothing. maybe i am doing something wrong? or maybe this trick doesn't work anymore?

i am on firwmare 2.35 and i am trying to play a game online using the SIMPLE DNS trick or the PS3 PROXY trick.

i keep getting the error message that i can't get online because i have to update.

is ANYONE still using these tricks? if so, which one please? what firmware are you on and can you link me to the steps/programs you are using?

to the smart ones that might tell me to upgrade my ps3 to the latest firmware... please don't tell me that... because then it defeats the purpose of posting this question
