I am getting kind of puzzled on my ps3 about 3 weeks ago my ps3 stopped reading blu ray games or movies. I ordered a new laser did 4 or 5 before no big deal changed it. Everything was working perfect for a week. Last night my son and I where playing MW3.

His gun disappears then the voice then my gun and we die. Log out of the game wouldn't come back on new laser toast won't even spin the disc. So thinking that it might be the main motor and not the new laser (which I have to send back anyway) I put my old one back in and everything works great blu-ray DVD cd everything.

So could it be my ps3 itself corrupt data or something else other then the lasers not reading games?
