BD icon hack or mod help?

The Blueray drive on my ps3 isn't working anymore, is there a way to get the system to read or mount a dummy file just to get the bd icon to appear?

I'm not to knowledgeable but I would say that is very unlikely at the time being.

I hope you work something out though as the last 3 big games need a disc in the drive.
