Auto startup app highlight/select

I remember some time ago that there was a way to configure what App could be highlighted when the console starts up. Does anyone know how to set this up? I've looked through the system settings but couldn't find a setting that matches it.

I need this so I can auto-highlight PlayTV and then boot into it.

I think that is just comes up on the last app that you used. I am not aware of a way to set the starting app.

I have a work around that the universal remote moves the selection via macros.
